Deposit & Refund Policy
Effective Date: December 23, 2025
Applies to: All rentals and services booked through Phenomenal Occasions Event Place.
1. Purpose
This Deposit & Refund Policy explains the terms for security deposits, service deposits, and refunds related to venue bookings and additional services offered by Komitadji Inc. (doing business as Phenomenal Occasions Event Place).
It is part of our agreement with clients and is designed to ensure clarity, fairness, and consistent protection of both parties.
2. Security Deposit
A security deposit is required for all event space rentals to secure your date and protect against damages, excessive cleaning, or other policy violations.
Amount Required:
Small Event Room: $500
Large Event Hall: $1,500
Phenomenal Occasions Event Place
Due Date: Security deposits must be paid at the time of booking along with the required deposit payment to secure the date.
Purpose: The security deposit is held to cover:
Property damage beyond normal wear and tear
Excessive cleaning costs (e.g., confetti, spills, trash removal)
Policy violations (e.g., smoking in undesignated areas)
3. Refund of Security Deposit
Security deposits are refundable within the following guidelines:
Inspection: After your event, a venue representative will inspect the space for damages, excessive cleaning needs, or policy violations.
Refund Timing: Refunds are processed within 48 hours after the event once the inspection is complete.

Deductions: If the inspection reveals:
Damages to property or equipment
Excessive cleaning needs
Violations of venue policies
funds may be withheld to cover reasonable costs.
Notification: Clients will be notified of any deductions with an itemized breakdown.
4. Rental Fee Deposit & Balance
In addition to the security deposit:
A 50% non-refundable rental deposit of the total rental fee is due at booking.
KOMITADJI INC
The remaining balance must be paid 7 days prior to the event.
No date is reserved until both the deposit and a signed rental agreement are received.
5. Refunds & Cancellations
Refunds for the rental deposit (not the security deposit) are subject to the following:
Cancellation Notice:
Cancelling more than 30 days before the event: Refund of the rental deposit minus a processing fee of $100.
Cancelling 15–30 days before the event: 50% refund of the rental deposit.
Cancelling less than 15 days before the event: No refund of the rental deposit.
Rescheduling: If you reschedule your event with at least 15 days’ notice, your rental deposit may be applied to the new date (subject to availability).
All refunds will be issued using the original method of payment within 7–14 business days after the cancellation is confirmed.
6. Exceptions
Situations outside of reasonable control (e.g., natural disasters, government mandates) may be considered for special accommodation.
Force majeure events will be evaluated case-by-case.
